It’s tough to see what’s happening every day on Wall Street to not get discouraged about making money in Internet Marketing (or any other business, for that matter.)
The cable stations run doom and gloom stories 24 hours a day, and the morning shows (like Today and Good Morning America) lead off everyday with pieces on the plunging real estate market and how our 401K’s are declining.
It’s enough to make you want to give up.
But you know you can’t. And don’t want to.
Here are the five steps I suggest you take to shake off the daily bad news:
- Turn off the news – TV, radio, Internet. Get away from the negative, so you can focus on the positive.
- Evaluate your business – Stop doing what isn’t profitable, and keep doing what makes you money.
- Stop chasing the hype – Don’t buy every product that comes down the pike. Stick with your knitting.
- Cancel any memberships that aren’t making you money – it’s easy to keep paying every month. Don’t.
- Get away from your computer – Take a walk and clear your head.
