These are pretty scary times. The stock market swings are enough to make me want to get into bed and pull the covers over my head. But I can’t. I need to make a living, so I’m putting one foot in front of another and moving forward.
I’ve stepped back to understand everything about my Internet Marketing business — I’m looking at where I’m spending my money, how I’m spending my time, evaluating my overall return on investment, and figuring out what I need to change or improve.
I’m going to stop spending money on ebooks, software, or courses I don’t need. Sometimes the sales pitches are so good, I take a chance and buy products because I think I’ll use them — if not today, then tomorrow or someday. Most of the time, I never get around to using them, or find out the products weren’t as good as advertised.
I’m going to spend the bulk of my time using promotional techniques that drive visitors to my website, and stop using the techniques that don’t really work. I’m going to be open to the “new web,” and stop thinking the old way. If social networking is the way to go, I’m going to give it much more effort.
That’s what I’m doing. Please leave your comments, and let me know what you’re doing to keep your Internet Marketing business profitable today. Let’s all help each other.
