Adwords advertising for affiliate products seems to be all the rage lately. That’s probably because affiliate marketers don’t want to wait for their websites gain high organic search engine rankings; they’re looking for more immediate income.
If you’re a seasoned affiliate marketer, you probably have the tools to use Adwords and Clickbank to drive revenue, but it’s not as easy if you’re a newbie.
Chris McNeeney, creator of the Day Job Killer and many other successful Internet marketing products, developed Google Nemesis to enable new Internet marketers to also enjoy revenue from Clickbank by using AdWords.
The core premise of Google Nemesis is that review pages are a great way to make affiliate sales of Clickbank products; that there is a real science to creating those pages; and that there are specific ways to drive sales from your review pages by using Google AdWords.
Review pages aren’t new, as witnessed by the thousands of “review” sites that have already been created for Clickbank products. (I say “review” in quotes because 99% of these sites are just sales copy designed to get you to buy the product. They aren’t real reviews and add no new information or value to the reader.).
Chris seems to have determined the best demonstrated practices of review sites, and developed template-driven software that allows you to just fill in the blanks and create useful review sites of affiliate products..
The software enables you to create review sites for either two or three competing products in a niche. You select the products (through criteria you learn via the videos and reports that are included in the package), and write the reviews of each product. Chris teaches you writing techniques that will help you convert readers to buyers, but it’s ultimately up to you to write interesting and meaningful reviews. (You can also create multiple reviews to test copy.)
The software will be most helpful to newbies. You don’t have to know any html, and when you’ve finished your review, you just upload it to Chris’s site. You don’t even have to get your own domain name. (Chris also supplies a pretty nifty tracking system so you can see how well your Adwords campaigns are converting.)
Included in the Google Nemesis package are bonus videos about AdWords and Clickbank, how to find super affiliates, and ways to do keyword research.
When you buy the package, you’ll get an upsell offer for “Affiliate Blueprints,” where Chris outlines his exact methods for affiliate marketing success. These blueprints truly add value, and it’s worth buying them if you buy Google Nemesis .
As a subscriber to Google Nemesis , you’ll continue to have access to the software and tracking, as well as all of the updates and new materials..
My Verdict: If you’re just starting out in affiliate marketing, Google Nemesis (including the blueprints) can greatly reduce your learning curve and make it easy to get up and running fast. You’ll also learn a lot about affiliate marketing, PPC advertising, Clickbank, and AdWords.
I don’t recommend Google Nemesis for more advanced affiliate marketers though. There’s probably nothing here you don’t already know, and you won’t need the software to create the review sites..
