A friend sent me a link to Website Grader, a nifty free free seo tool that measures the marketing effectiveness of your website.
All you have to do is enter your website URL, and your email, and generate your report. (You can also enter some competing websites if you want, but it’s not mandatory.)
I tried it and found the information incredibly helpful. I thought I had done a good job optimizing my site, but it showed me what I had missed and how I could fix it.
It scored my site on website traffic, SEO, social popularity and other technical factors and gave me some some basic advice on how my website could be improved.
After I generated my report, I fixed the problem areas and ran the report again. My site still isn’t perfectly optimized (are any?), but I’m going to keep at it to continue to increase my score.
